The CEO of Bulgarian Stock Exchange - Sofia, Ivan Takev, will be a lecturer at the Summer School of the Atanas Burov Foundation. The guiding principles and practices for good corporate governance shall be the emphasis in Mr Takev's lecture.
The Foundation together with Select Asset Management and Karoll Capital Management announced a scholarship competition for participation in the Summer School. The event will take place between 22 June and 1 July 2018 in Bankya.
Up to twenty students of economics, having completed their third year of education in the universities of economics in Bulgaria and with an average grade of at least 4.50 will be accepted. Excellent command of English is also a must.
The main topic of this year's summer school is "Investments" and the highlights will be practical analysis of equity instruments, investment solutions and approaches, working with IT applications, investment ethics, corporate governance, professional certification programs, financial options and VBA programming. Participants will be given practical assignments and would be expected to show knowledge, wits, creativity and teamwork skills.
Eligible candidates should submit a filled-in information card, CV and a self-written essay in English on one of the four predefined topics by 15 May 2018. More details about the requirements and the program of the summer school can be found on the website of the Atanas Burov Foundation.
Approved candidates will be announced by 24 May 2018 on the Foundation's website. The scholarships granted by the Foundation cover accommodation and the training of the participants.
